New Student Orientation

Whether you're a new or transfer student, orientation is important.

It's where you register for classes, meet with your advisor, set up your accounts and learn about all the little pieces that add up to a successful first year at Texas Wesleyan.

Signing up for classes in the summer or fall?

Orientation dates for summer and fall enrollment will be available in March.

Need to plan your schedule around the big day? Here's what you need to know:

  • First-Year Orientations held during the summer months are two day events. These orientations are for freshmen, early college high school students and students with dual enrollment credit.
  • Transfer Orientations and New Student Orientations for Spring enrollment last 3-4 hours.

One more thing — all students must pay their enrollment deposit to complete the orientation process.

Students will need to attend an orientation before they are able to register for classes. Questions? Can't find a date that works for you? Call Student Engagement at 817-531-4923 or email us at
