Placement Exams

What are Academic Placement Exams?

Texas Wesleyan University uses placement exams to check the academic skill level of entering students in subjects like math, English and Reading. The results of these scores determine if more preparation is needed before taking on college-level classes.

How to Schedule an Exam

If you have been asked to take a placement exam, please contact the coordinator of academic placement testing at 817-531-5825 to schedule a time to test.

How to be Prepared

Here's what you'll need on your test day:

  • Your Wesleyan ID number or Social Security number

Please note that bags, cell phones and notes are not allowed at your desk during the exams.
