Attend orientation

Your 3-day orientation is from Jan. 9-11 before the first week of classes and is on the Texas Wesleyan campus. You're required to attend this event unless you have extenuating circumstances.

During orientation, we'll go over:

  • Program policies and processes
  • Proper self-care while in the program
  • Online resources such as library databases, graduate writing tutor and more
  • Technology requirements and expectations

At orientation, you will have some expenses that you'll need to include in your budget for the semester such as hotel/lodging and meals while you're here.

If you're comfortable adding a Web browser on your laptop, you'll want to make sure you have Mozilla Firefox installed. If not, we can help you add it at orientation. You will not need to purchase Microsoft Office if you already have it installed.
