DNP-FNP Student Checklist
Congratulations on being accepted to the program! There are still a few things you need to do before you can start classes. Read through our checklist and make sure you’ve got everything covered.

Accept your seat and pay your deposit |
You must accept your seat in the program within 14 days of acceptance and let us know you're committed to getting your DNP-FNP at TXWES. You'll fill out an enrollment confirmation form online.
You'll also need to pay your non-refundable seat deposit of $500.

After accepting your seat and paying your seat deposit, we'll need your new student paperwork.
- Background check ($100 fee at your own cost)
- Drug screening
- Immunization records
- Tuberculosis Test
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate

Attend orientation |
Your on-campus orientation will be an opportunity to meet your cohort and faculty in person prior to the start of your first semester. This required event will also cover information important for you to know and allow you an opportunity to have your University ID made and ensure your registration is complete.
During orientation, we'll go over:
- Program policies and processes
- Proper self-care while in the program
- Online resources such as library databases, graduate writing tutor and more
- Technology requirements and expectations
