Are you currently enrolled in college and looking to transfer? How would you like to finish your degree for free? See if you qualify to get free tuition with Texas Wesleyan’s Smaller. Smarter. Promise Scholarship. Yeah, you heard us. We said free.

Getting your education can seem expensive, but we’re here to help make it more affordable. There are only a few things you have to do in order to qualify for the scholarship.

What do you need to be eligible?

  • 42 transferable credit hours
  • A cumulative 3.0 GPA (or higher)
  • Be a first-time Texas Wesleyan student
  • Enroll as a full-time student at the University (12-18 hours)
  • Complete the FAFSA and qualify for the full amount of the Federal Pell Grant

This scholarship is a combination of different grants, including the Federal Pell Grant and all other federal, state and institutional scholarships and grants. They come together to pay 100% of your college tuition for an entire school year – both fall and spring semesters. Want to know the best part? It’s just for transfer students like you.

To apply for the Smaller. Smarter. Promise Scholarship, you just have to apply to Texas Wesleyan, and complete your FAFSA. It’s that simple. There’s no extra paperwork to fill out or forms to sign. Submit your application and get admitted before the scholarship deadline on June 1.

You’re not the first transfer student to come to Texas Wesleyan. We thought we could help you out a little bit and let you know which credits transfer from a few of the popular schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Submit your information and get a transfer guide today.
