About Professor Gonzales

Rueben Gonzales is an artist living in Arlington, and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art and Coordinator of the Bernice Coulter Templeton Art Studio and Gallery at Texas Wesleyan University. Gonzales earned his BFA in 2009 from the University of Texas at Arlington and his MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2019. Gonzales creates conceptual works that respond to the spiritual, social and cultural relationship of humans as they exists within nature and within the time spent there. He is also a member of the Fort Worth Art Dealers Association.
