About Professor Gonzales

Rueben Gonzales is an artist living in Arlington, and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art and Coordinator of the Bernice Coulter Templeton Art Studio and Gallery at Texas Wesleyan University. Gonzales earned his BFA in 2009 from the University of Texas at Arlington and his MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2019. Gonzales' work has been exhibited at various galleries/museums nationally. He is a member of the south central chapter of the Society for Photographic Education (SPE) and serves on the committee for the Fort Worth Art Dealers Association (FWADA). He also serves as the chair of the Art Committee, and is the faculty advisor for the Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) both at Texas Wesleyan University.
