Health Center

The Health Center offers free assessments, immunizations, minor first aid, referrals, and help with insurance.

Texas Wesleyan understands that maintaining a student’s health is critical to their academic success. In order to promote a positive and balanced lifestyle, the Health Center maintains nurse-directed services to both residential and commuter students at no additional cost.

Who is eligible and what is the cost?

Student services include free assessments and counseling, vaccinations and immunizations (minimal fees with some immunizations), minor first aid, over the counter medication, referrals, 24-hour emergency pager and help with insurance.

Student Insurance

While Texas Wesleyan does not provide student insurance plans, we have contracted with Academic Health Plans to offer students affordable annual and biannual health coverage rates with excellent customer service. Academic Health Plans is a local company owned by Wesleyan Alumni that has provided affordable student insurance at Wesleyan for over 10 years.
