Orientation Leader Program

An Orientation Leader (OL) is an ambassador for Texas Wesleyan University.  As an OL, you’ll assist with all aspects of the orientation process and serve as a mentor for new students as they transition to the University.

Strong communication skills, punctuality, dependability, enthusiasm and the ability to work well on a team are qualities that all OLs should possess.

Texas Wesleyan Orientation Leaders must:

  • Have a minimum 2.5 GPA (cumulative)
  • Be in good academic standing
  • Have 24 earned credit hours at the end of the Spring 2015 semester
  • Be able to lift 20 lbs
  • Be able to attend all training and orientation dates
  • Be a mentor for New Student Programs during the fall and spring semesters
  • Give permission for New Student Programs to review academic and discpline records
