Ana Galaviz has joined the Marketing & Communications team at Texas Wesleyan University as the new creative services manager. In her role, she will interact daily with other departments and organizations on campus to ensure marketing and branding initiatives are met.
Galaviz brings with her more than five years of project management, marketing and sales experience. Prior to joining Texas Wesleyan, she worked as an account executive for Bioworld Merchandising, and before then, she held numerous positions within the marketing department at Dallas Market Center.
“Ana’s knowledge of branding and marketing makes her a perfect fit for the award-winning ‘Smaller. Smarter.’ brand,” Darren White, associate vice president of marketing and communications, said. “She is going to be a great partner to offices across campus and a great asset to the University.”
A graduate from the University of North Texas, Galaviz obtained her bachelor’s degree in merchandising. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree from Texas A&M University at Commerce and is eager to put in to practice many of the marketing theories she has learned.
When not in class or at work, Galaviz freelances as a stylist for local fashion shows and serves as an active member of DIFFA Dallas; a non-profit organization centered around raising funds for HIV/AIDS service organizations.
