Texas Wesleyan University has selected Kelsey Dickson as its new Graduate Admissions Marketing Specialist. She will be joining the award-winning Marketing & Communications team in its efforts to develop and execute the marketing and branding initiatives set forth in the 2020 Vision strategic plan. She will also play an integral role in Texas Wesleyan’s commitment to living “Smaller. Smarter.” and establishing the university’s role in the community as a leader in graduate-level professional programs.
“Kelsey’s experience writing and managing digital marketing campaigns is exactly what the graduate team needs to continue to implement its marketing strategy to find the best and brightest graduate students for our expanding offering of graduate programs,” Shannon Lamberson, Director of Marketing for Graduate Programs.
Dickson brings with her four years of social media marketing, digital advertising and PR experience, with part of that time spent in NYC as a publicist for one of the largest trade book publishers in the country. Prior to joining Texas Wesleyan, she worked as an account manager for a Dallas-based social media marketing company, providing social media and online reputation engagement services to clients across the globe.
After receiving her B.A in English Literature with an emphasis in creative writing, Dickson went on to receive her M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas A&M University. When not at work, you’ll find her traveling, spending time with family or curled up with a good book.
