Texas Wesleyan University has selected Shannon Lamberson as its new digital marketing manager for the Graduate Programs of Nurse Anesthesia (GPNA).
Texas Wesleyan is focused on helping the GPNA program reach its fullest potential. As advertising moves at a fast pace into the digital sphere, the GPNA and marketing and communications teams are focused on utilizing it to streamline communication and develop hyper-targeted ad campaigns to attract the best and brightest critical care nurses.
Digital advertising, including Web pages, email, social media and video, allows for rich, interactive content to engage prospective and current nurse anesthesia students.
Lamberson, who took the role of digital marketing manager Feb. 4, has extensive experience with digital marketing, spending the last five years working for a $2 billion, Fort Worth-based company.
While there, she built a well-developed digital marketing program from inception. She created and presented marketing campaign plans, worked with a wide variety of teams to execute these plans and captured and presented results.
Her work, which was applauded by leadership, resulted in significant year-over-year sale increases and cost savings.
Lamberson is a proud Texas Tech graduate, majoring in advertising and photo-communication, and is currently getting her master’s of business administration at University of Texas at Arlington.
