Almost 100 faculty and staff members have completed training for the new content management system (CMS) and are now updating their websites and sharing news and events with campus. 

If you haven't had the chance to attend any of the CMS workshops or need to complete your training, there are only a few chances left this semester to get started, so you'll want to sign up today.

Why Get Trained?

Your website is an incredible tool, and in August, the university put the power to create and edit content back in the hands of the campus. Now, all changes to department Web pages are handled directly by faculty and staff.

  • Need to change a course description? You'll know how to fix it.
  • Is there a professor doing amazing work that the entire campus should know about? You'll be able to get that information on your website and in the Flame.
  • Is your department planning an event and you need to spread the word? When you post it through the CMS, we can even help you promote what you're up to through social media if it aligns with the Texas Wesleyan message pillars.

How to Get Started

To complete training, you'll need to attend one date from each of the following categories:

CMS "A" Session

CMS "B" Session

Web Writing Crash Course

You must take the "A" session before the "B" session, but you may take the Web writing crash course at any time.
