Ready to get involved and make a big impact in our local community? The TXWES Connect committee has partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Tarrant County and Meals on Wheels to offer students, staff and faculty the opportunity to write a Valentine letter to the Meals on Wheels recipients in the Polytechnic Heights community.

Drop boxes for Valentine’s letters and cards will be available Jan. 28 to Feb 7. The drop-off stations are:

  • Student Affairs
  • 2nd floor of the Oneal-Sells Administration building
  • Main floor of the Library
  • Armstrong-Mabee Business Center
  • Dan Waggoner Hall
  • Polytechnic United Methodist Church
  • Ella C. McFadden Science Center
  • Nurse Anesthesia

The boxes will be decorated by the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Tarrant County. We do ask that if you make a card, you sign it with your first name and your graduation year if you're an alumnus/alumna.

If you would like to wait and make a card, we will have a card-making station set up on the first floor of the Library on Feb. 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for all students, faculty and staff. All supplies and snacks will be provided.
