You don't need to put your life on hold to become a counselor. Our classes are online with built-in, optional, synchronous meetings. Our practicum classes meet virtually, with various meeting times available. And there are opportunities to engage in on-campus learning experiences, too!
You can become a marriage and family therapist or licensed professional counselor, or both. You'll also get access to Ph.D.-level seminar classes where you'll hear from the leaders in counseling.

If you don't live in the Fort Worth area, you can gain experience in telehealth through our counseling center or our practicum coordinator can help find a site near you to get in-person experience.

Both our master's and Ph.D. programs in marriage & family therapy are accredited by the Commission of Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE).
