Rethink Positive: Reducing HIV Stigma Workshop and Free Testing
On Nov. 30, The Diversity and Inclusion Council will welcome Tarrant County Public Health and the AIDS Outreach Center to campus to help facilitate a discussion on HIV stigma and how we can challenge it in our communities.
Hope Adams of Tarrant County Public Health will be hosting a workshop to discuss the harms of HIV stigma and how to challenge it. The first 20 to register for the workshop through Ramspace will be provided a box lunch.
After the workshop, the AIDS Outreach Center will be conducting HIV testing. All those who get tested at this event will be given a $10 Amazon Gift Card.
- The workshop will be from 12-1 p.m.
- HIV Testing will be available from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
All events will be taking place in the Andrews Ballrooms in the Martin University Center.
