When:
Oct 21, 2016 2:00 PM - Oct 21, 2016 3:00 PM
Where:
Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning

In this workshop, you will refine the learning objectives and student outcomes for one of your courses (an existing course or a new one you will teach in the future). Learning objectives convey what you intend to teach to students, and student outcomes describe the measurable actions and behaviors students undertake to demonstrate that they have achieved what you intended. Well-written objectives and outcomes benefit the instructor and students, and they are the anchor to which your assessments should align.

Bring a syllabus of your choosing to the workshop.

This series of workshops will provide you with a solid foundation for planning units in which objectives, assessments, course content, and activities are aligned to increase student achievement. Attend one or all of the workshops in the Course Design series this fall (additional workshops in the series will be offered each month).
