Feeling spread too thin? Overwhelmed by work and personal responsibilities? Generally anxious and stressed out?

Join Dr. Cary Adkinson from the School of Natural and Social Sciences for a Mindfulness-Based Stress Management workshop where you will learn evidence-based coping strategies that help mitigate the damaging effects of stress. Adkinson’s workshop is based on his years of experience working with people, such as police officers, who have high-stress occupations.

What you’ll learn in this one-hour session can have a profound effect on your personal and professional relationships as you develop resiliency and improve your emotional balance.

The workshop will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 26, in West Library, Room 203.
