CETL Happenings: Find out what's going on in August and beyond

‌Welcome back! The CETL staff has been hard at work all summer preparing new and exciting professional development opportunities for all faculty and staff at Texas Wesleyan.

You can expect a "CETL Happenings" to appear monthly with up-to-date information on the latest and greatest in the CETL office. 

new faculty New Faculty Lunch Series

cetl staffNew Faculty are invited to join us for the Inaugural New Faculty Lunch series. There will be monthly sessions held throughout the fall semester for new faculty to get comfortable in the classroom and transition into their first year at Wesleyan.

RSVP today for the first session, Writing Student Learning Outcomes, on Aug. 26 at 12:15 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

cetl talk CETL Talks

All faculty and staff are invited to join Dr. Addy Tolliver as she leads sessions about current topics in education. Sessions include discussion on this years Horizon Report and educational uses for Minecraft. Suggestions are welcome for topics you wish to discuss.

CETL Talks will take place monthly. Coffee and snacks will be provided. 

staff seriesStaff Series

The Spring staff series was such a hit that we are continuing it this fall with monthly sessions. All staff members are invited to join Pressly Smith as she leads workshops on What's New with Office 2013 and Introduction to Google Forms.

Sessions will have supplemental information that can be accessed through Atomic Learning. Suggestions are welcome for topics you want to learn more about. 

You can now RSVP for events or signup for individual consultations on the Wesleyan website with ease.
