Gwen’s philosophy of teaching is based on a belief that learning needs to be student centered and students need to be equal partners in the learning process.

“My role involves using my expertise to put the necessary resources in the hands of the faculty and students to ensuring that all students are well equipped to find and evaluate the resources they need to answer their questions. Every classroom presents a unique community of learners that varies not only in abilities, but also in learning styles. My role as an instructional leader is to give students/faculty the tools with which to cultivate their own gardens of knowledge.”
