Staff Council has been working hard to address staff issues, concerns and suggested changes to bring the campus community together and promote a positive campus culture.

As part Staff Council's initiatives, a series of "Staff Information Sessions" with the Executive Staff have been created. These information sessions allow each Vice President and the Chief of Staff to discuss important University issues and developments. Additionally these sessions will help staff understand the important roles staff play in decision making by understanding the “behind the scenes” of University decisions. To date, sessions with Pati Alexander, Karen Montgomery and Allen Henderson, Ph.D. have been presented.

The council is asking all staff to attend each session and for supervisors to please work with your staff to participate in this initiative.

Upcoming sessions are as follows. Please be sure to save to your calendar.

  • Tuesday, June 3 – 9:30 a.m. – Joan Canty, Vice President of Alumni & Advancement
  • Wednesday, June 18 – 9:30 a.m. – John Veilleux, Vice President of Marketing & Communications
  • Tuesday, July 1 – 9:30 a.m. – Patti Gearhart Turner, Chief of Staff

All sessions will take place in Lou’s Place. Please check The Flame for reminders and additional information regarding these sessions.
