Tuition Waiver

Educational Assistance and Tuition Waiver

All full-time, regular employees of the University, their spouses and dependent children (per IRS regulations) are eligible for a tuition waiver. Children are defined as natural, adoptive or stepchildren, or individuals under legal guardianship. Eligibility for the tuition waiver benefit begins the semester following the first day of employment for both the employee and their eligible family members.

To apply for the Tuition Waiver benefit, please complete the needed posted Tuition Waiver Application as it is made available.

Important Reminders

  • Please review the tuition waiver policy as it relates to fees that students may accrue. The tuition waiver only covers tuition, and other fees and taxes. Payroll deduction plans are available as a payment plan if needed.
  • Employees must complete all tuition waivers and submit the forms to the Human Resources (HR) office no later than due date. Applications received after the due date will not be processed.
  • Per the tuition waiver policy, all full-time, regular employees and faculty of the University, their spouses and children are eligible for a tuition waiver. Regular part-time employees, faculty or staff, are eligible for the tuition waiver and will be pro-rated to the number of regular hours you work each week.
  • All tuition waiver applicants must attach a class schedule or requested class schedule to the tuition waiver application. 

Tuition Waiver applications are now available and are due July 30, 2019.
