Join the Diversity and Inclusion Council for a Latino representation panel

As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, Texas Wesleyan’s Diversity and Inclusion Council invites you to take part in a panel discussion on addressing social issues and representation among the Latino community.

Latinx Rising: A discussion on community, organizing and power will be held from 7 – 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Martin Hall.

Mark your calendar to hear from a group of panelists discuss their work in organizing and advocating for the Latino community. They include:

  • Angela Andrade, Organizer from the North Texas Dream Team
  • Giovanni Valderas, Activist and Artist of Casita Triste
  • Tristeza Ordex-Ramirez, President of El Voto Es Latino
  • Jonathan Perez, Higher education professional and doctoral student
  • Jessica Ramirez, Organizer from United Fort Worth
  • Eva Arreguin, Host of De Colores Radio podcast
  • Moderator: Daniel Garcia Rodriguez, current Texas Wesleyan political science senior
