The CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older receive a yearly flu vaccine as the first and most important step in protecting against the flu.

Texas Wesleyan will host flu shot clinics on:

  • Thursday, Sept. 10
  • Thursday, Sept. 17
  • Tuesday, Oct. 13
  • Tuesday, Oct. 27

All clinics will be held in the Jimmy Dubose Executive Boardroom in the Martin Center from 12:15 – 1:30 p.m.

Flu shots are free for those with medical insurance. If you are on the BCBS plan, please bring your BCBS insurance card and driver's license with you.

Flu shots are $45 for those without insurance.

Star Wellness will also be offering TDAP (Tetanus & Pertussis) shots, which are free for those with medical insurance. They are $75 for those without insurance.

Vitamin B12 shots are $25 and the Lipotropic shot is $35. There is a full dose of B12 in the Lipotropic shot so you do not need both. Vitamin injections are not covered by insurance.

Children must be at least 8 years of age and have had a flu shot before to take part in a clinic.

Star Wellness does accept credit cards and FSA/HSA debit cards.

Star Wellness cannot accept Ambetter, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, Baylor Scott & White or Cigna local plus.  They do accept other Cigna plans, just not Local Plus.

Even healthy people can get the flu. Protect yourself and your loved ones. Get vaccinated.
