During these times of heightened concern about our health, have you documented your wishes concerning medical treatment in the event you are unable to make medical decisions for yourself?
Have you appointed someone to make medical decisions for you should you become unable to make important medical decisions?
What wishes would you have about end-of-life health considerations?
If you die without a will, the State of Texas has a plan for your assets, with no regard to what you may have intended. If you want to be in control of where your assets and your personal possessions will be distributed upon death, a will is essential.
We encourage you to join this discussion with our very own Patti Gearhart Turner, chief of staff/general counsel at Texas Wesleyan as she discusses will preparation, advanced directives and more in this virtual lunch & learn from 12:15-1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The Zoom link will be sent the morning of to all staff and faculty members.
Hope to see you there!
