Black History Month Lunch and Lecture Feb 22 welcomes guest speaker, Dale Long.

The Diversity and Inclusion Council and Black History Month Multicultural Committee enthusiastically invites all faculty, staff and students for lunch followed by a lecture from Dale Long. 

Mr. Long will share his personal connection to the civil rights movement and life changing event that he experienced as a child at the 1963 16th Street Baptist Church bombing in Birmingham.

This event will take place at the following locations to allow for lunch and convenient transition into a powerful lecture!

  • 11:15 a.m.: Welcome and Luncheon in Baker Building
  • 12:30 p.m.: Lecture in Martin Hall
  • Please RSVP by Feb 20

This event has been planned as part of the Texas Wesleyan Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan
