Join President Frederick G. Slabach, trustees and government officials for the Rosedale Renaissance groundbreaking at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at the site next to the School of Business.
Construction on East Rosedale has been ongoing since last spring, but the ceremonial groundbreaking will mark the beginning of new construction for the campus entryway, clock tower and the United Methodist Church Central Texas Conference Service Center, which will be home to the bishop’s offices.
Pillars of the project
The Rosedale Renaissance Project is a $6.5 million multifaceted project designed to leverage more than $32 million in private and public funding for the benefit of Southeast Fort Worth and Texas Wesleyan University.

The project also includes the addition of a reflecting pool in the entryway, promenade-style sidewalks with seat walls and facilities that provide additional opportunities for students to learn.
