Marriage & Family Therapy

Get Your Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy

We're more than just a graduate program for LMFT licensure — we prepare you to make an impact as a marriage and family therapist.

You'll earn your M.S. in marriage and family therapy in small, in-person classes from an accredited program just a few minutes east of downtown Fort Worth. When you graduate, you'll be ready to take the exam required to apply for your LMFT license.

Counseling Courses That Prepare You to Excel

In our 60-hour marriage and family therapy degree program, you’ll learn how to work effectively with your clients in master-level courses like

  • Crisis Intervention Counseling
  • Marriage and Family Counseling
  • Ethical and Professional Conduct for Counselors
  • Principles for Marital Therapy
  • Strategies for Interventions in Family Therapy

The marriage and family therapy degree plan also requires 525 practicum hours, which gives you the hands-on experience you need to meet Texas state licensure requirements.

A Flexible Evening and Weekend Schedule

Each of your MFT graduate program classes will meet once a week on Monday-Thursday from 6-9 p.m., with an occasional Saturday class. Some courses are offered in an in-person/online hybrid format for added flexibility.
