Texas Wesleyan has implemented a new content management system (CMS) that gives faculty and staff the power to shape their department’s website by creating an editing content. On October 4, we will be offering part "A" of CMS training for university employees.
The session will not only teach you how to use the new system, but also how to create and manage content that allows you to get the most out of your site. You will receive a crash course in basic functions such as
- Creating new Web pages
- Adding and modifying content
- Uploading photos and other media
The course runs from 9-11 a.m. and will be held in the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) on the first floor of the library. CMS training sessions "A" and "B" and the Web writing crash course must be completed in order to be approved to edit and create content. Web writing crash courses will be offered on six dates during the Fall semester.
Space is limited to 8 participants for each session.
