The Wesleyan Chorale will present its annual spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, in Martin Hall.
The program includes two major works for chorus and orchestra: Mozart’s sacred motet, Te Deum, K. 141, and Beethoven’s majestic Mass in C, Op. 86. Also, making its debut appearance will be the newly-formed select choir Voices.
The 60-voice Wesleyan Chorale is made up of Wesleyan students, faculty and staff members, Wesleyan music alumni and other friends of the University. Wesleyan Chorale and Voices both perform under the direction of Jerome M. Bierschenk, associate professor of music.
Martin Hall is located at 1309 Wesleyan St. Admission to the event is free.
