Texas Wesleyan launches ‘When we say Smarter’ campaign

08.22.2018 | By: Texas Wesleyan University
Texas Wesleyan is proud to announce the launch of the “When we say Smarter” campaign to focus the entire campus community on communicating the academic value of a Texas Wesleyan degree to our current and future students, and beyond.

When we say, “smaller,” it means our professors know our students by name. And that our students thrive in one-on-one interactions with engaging educators who are dedicated to their success.

But what do we mean when we say “smarter?”

For our undergraduate students, it means hands-on learning and mentoring opportunities in the School of Arts & Letters, a front row seat to business from experts in the School of Business Administration, the large network connected with the diverse School of Education, the right-sized classes and research opportunities in the School of Natural & Social Sciences, and much more.

Texas Wesleyan is proud to announce the launch of the “When we say Smarter” campaign to focus the entire campus community on communicating the academic value of a Texas Wesleyan degree to our current and future students, and beyond.

“We know that students have many choices when it comes to higher education, especially in North Texas,” said John Veilleux, vice president of enrollment, marketing, and communications. “Research shows us that we need to do a better job of communicating our academic value and the strengths of our academic programs to stay competitive, and continue to attract and retain high-quality students.”

The new campaign builds on the success of the “Smaller. Smarter.” campaign by focusing on areas of strengths in Texas Wesleyan’s undergraduate schools. Look for new signage around campus to educate the on-campus community, social media marketing and a strong presence on txwes.edu. From admissions tour guides and Career Services to direct mail for prospects and media relations, departments across campus will be reinforcing our academic value. Want to learn even more?
