Texas Wesleyan receives national recognition for environmental stewardship

In recognition of Texas Wesleyan’s involvement in a number of partnership programs with Way Services and Atmos Energy, the University was selected to receive the Partnership Award by the Energy Solutions Center (ESC).

In recognition of Texas Wesleyan’s involvement in a number of partnership programs with Way Services and Atmos Energy, the University was selected to receive the Partnership Award by the Energy Solutions Center (ESC).

Energy Solutions Center, Inc. (ESC) is a national non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. comprised of energy utilities and equipment manufacturers that promote energy efficient natural gas solutions and systems for use by residential, commercial, and industrial energy users.

The Texas Wesleyan projects that received attention from this group included the new Combined Heat & Power system (CHP) as well as other utility reduction initiatives related to the efficient use of natural gas.
