Latina Administration Night

When:
Oct 03, 2024 6:30 PM - Oct 03, 2024 7:30 PM
Where:
Lou's Place

Learn from the personal histories of Latina leaders in education and alumnae of Texas Wesleyan University at Lou’s Place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. This panel of Latina administrators will share their experiences as school leaders, their advocacy and impact. They will address their challenges and opportunities as leaders as they navigate current educational issues such as severe teacher shortages, best teaching practices, training, parent engagement, and school safety. What can we learn from their experiences? What are some solutions or creative ways of addressing these issues, especially with the severe shortage of dual language teachers? The goal of this panel is to share the experiences and the challenges of Latina leaders and to focus on solutions to ensure pathways for eliminating barriers that might limit the momentum of optimal student achievement. See how their experiences have shaped our community, and how you can find inspiration to lead the next generation.
