Campus life offers unique educational experiences that expose students to new cultures, ways of life and beliefs. Student organizations help you meet new people and to share a common goals. Student Government offers opportunities to serve your fellow students. On campus living provides access to campus resources that commuters may miss.
Ram Camp focuses on helping students make connections to other new students, student leaders and campus resources. It is a new student's, freshman or transfer, first opportunity to really get a feel for life here at Texas Wesleyan, and it begins to show them all of the amazing things that we have to offer. Last year, more than 180 students attended Ram Camp.
Months of planning and preparation goes into the two days of Ram Camp. The Ram Camp Board of Directors, comprised of 6 student leaders, plan, prep, organize and train for Ram Camp. The Board of Directors select the Ram Camp Leaders and working closely throughout the summer they prepare to make amazing memories for the incoming students.
Each group has two co-leaders. Your co-leaders will be with you throughout the two days ensuring you become acquainted with the campus, traditions and your fellow peers. Be prepared to play messy games, team build, increase confidence and make new friends!
Ram Camp is your first step in getting involved on campus.
Registration is easy — just fill out the Ram Camp registration form online. After you register, you'll receive a confirmation email.
During the summer, a Ram Camp Leader will be in contact with you via email, text or a phone call to update you on where and when to meet and what to wear.
