The mission of the SGA shall be to interact with the administration, faculty, staff and students on behalf of the Student Body for the benefit of the students and student life on campus.
Business Meetings are held on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. in the Student Government Chamber on the first floor of the Brown-Lupton building next to the SUB.

The Betty and Bobby Bragan Fellowship Hall, located on the first floor, was dedicated on May 2, 2004.
Texas Wesleyan was originally named Polytechnic College, meaning “many arts and sciences.” Since its founding, Wesleyan has remained an important member of the surrounding Polytechnic Heights community.
