Texas Wesleyan University is excited to announce a new program that offers free tuition to incoming first-year students from Texas who qualify for full Pell Grant eligibility beginning fall 2025. To qualify, first-time college students in Texas will need to apply to Texas Wesleyan and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to see if they are eligible for the full Pell Grant. The program will then cover any remaining tuition not covered by the full grant. Students can renew their free tuition for up to four years if they remain enrolled full-time and maintain satisfactory academic standards. They may also be eligible for additional scholarships and financial aid to cover costs for books and room and board.
With our big scholarships, your college degree is within reach. You could be awarded a freshman scholarship up to $23,000 or a transfer scholarship up to $22,000—and you'll get the same amount every year that you remain eligible. Even better? You don't need to take the SAT or ACT to get your big scholarship. See how much you qualify for below.
Submit your info to find out how you can add up to an extra $3,000 to your scholarship per year.
