Religious Life

What's happening?

Upcoming Religious Life Event:

Join us for a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Luncheon and Service on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 @ 12:15PM in Bragan Fellowship Hall in the Polytechnic UMC. Come by and enjoy fellowship, pancakes, and Raising Canes Chicken Fingers™ - all are welcome!

Texas Wesleyan University—from its inception—has been a place of higher education combined with faith development. We believe that it is during the college years that young adults come to explore, understand, and claim faith for themselves. We are here to help students do that in their journey of education and faith. Through our programs and activities, we hope students can develop meaningful experiences in faith, education, and the world.

Charles Wesley once wrote:

"Unite the pair so long disjoined, Knowledge and vital piety. Learning and holiness combined, And truth and love let all persons see."

Please feel free contact us if you any questions or needs regarding religious life at Texas Wesleyan.

Peace, Rev. Dr. Robert Kenji Flowers, University Chaplain

A Reconciling Ministry

The Religious Life Department has committed to being a Reconciling Ministry. This means that our hearts, minds and doors are open to all people, and we are committed to welcoming those who may have been rejected by the Church in the past.
