The Inauguration of the 20th President of Texas Wesleyan University

Frederick G. Slabach

To everyone who embraces higher learning and the achievement of excellence, please join students, parents, alumni, friends, and distinguished guests in celebrating the inauguration of our new President, Frederick G. Slabach.

The celebration will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, on the campus of Texas Wesleyan University. Madeleine Albright, former U.S. Secretary of State, will be the keynote speaker. She is the president of the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation, where President Slabach previously served as executive secretary and chief executive officer.

Since his appointment in January of 2011, President Slabach has drafted a new strategic plan for the University that builds on our strong foundation of values and ethics and ensures that our academic programs lead to exceptional professional and career preparation.

Please help us to celebrate the installation of our 20th President and the many successes of Fort Worth’s longest-serving institution of higher learning. We have the vision, the purpose, and the leadership to shape the future.

We hope you will join us in our continuing journey.
