The Wesleyan Chorale is starting rehearsals this Monday, January 22, and you are invited to be a part! The chorus is comprised of students, alumni, former faculty and community members and is directed by Dr. Will Chandler, the Director of Choral Activities.

The theme for this semester’s concert is “In the midst of darkness, there is light.” All the pieces will involve overcoming adversity or finding good in unlikely places. The centerpiece of the concert will be Adolphus Hailstork’s "I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes", based on the text of Psalm 121. Other pieces include works by Florence Price, Gabriel Faure, and Elaine Hagenberg.

No auditions are required, and members are asked to pay a $30 fee to help cover music costs. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 6 - 7:15 p.m. If you are interested in participating, please complete this online form.
