The 2022 Sooner Athletic Conference Co-Champion Texas Wesleyan Rams have partnered with Crowley ISD to play their 2023 season home games at the new state-of-the-art Crowley ISD Multi-Purpose Stadium. The move to the new stadium from Fort Worth’s historic Farrington Field will give the athletes and fans alike an electric atmosphere and is less than 12 miles from Texas Wesleyan University’s campus.

"We couldn't be more thrilled about this collaboration with Crowley ISD,” said Texas Wesleyan Athletic Director Ricky Dotson. “The new CISD Multi-Purpose Stadium provides us with top-notch facilities, giving our players an incredible venue to excel and our fans an unforgettable experience."

The Crowley ISD Multi-Purpose Stadium, which opened in 2022, offers seating for over 8,000 spectators and cutting-edge amenities, including high-quality turf, modern locker rooms and an impressive 60x30 ft LED video scoreboard. This made the stadium a great place to elevate both the player and spectator experience for the Rams.

“Playing all our home games at this fantastic venue will undoubtedly elevate the game day experience for our players and fans,” said Joe Prud’homme, head football coach. “We can't wait to step onto the field in this new, state of the art stadium (or venue), as we defend our SAC title while also creating lasting memories."

This partnership between Texas Wesleyan University and Crowley ISD goes beyond just sports; it signifies a deeper connection with the local community. By sharing this state-of-the-art facility, both entities aim to create lasting memories and strengthen the ties between students, alumni and the community.

With the move to the Crowley ISD Multi-Purpose Stadium, the Rams are embracing a new chapter in their football journey, with high hopes of achieving greater heights of success both on and off the field. The Crowley ISD Multi-Purpose Stadium is an exciting opportunity for the Rams as they wait for the construction of Karen Cramer Stadium, Texas Wesleyan’s on-campus athletic stadium, to be completed.

As the countdown to the new season begins, fans, students and players eagerly anticipate the opportunities that lie ahead at the Crowley ISD Multi-Purpose Stadium. The 2023 season is expected to be filled with exciting moments, intense competition and an elevated experience that only a first-class stadium can bring. Mark your calendars and be ready to witness the Texas Wesleyan Rams in action, as they take the field at their new home for the 2023 football season on Saturday, August 26 at 6 p.m.
