Our tutors in the Academic Success Center take their jobs pretty seriously. They are truly experts in what they tutor.

As a published author, Terryon Desso doesn't just tutor students in writing — he practices it. He published Forgotten Labegeddi in 2012 and is currently working on Forgotten Labegeddi II.

He is from Magnolia, Ark., and believes his "country" background may be part of the reason he enjoys telling stories. To him, writing is a means of storytelling. We all enjoy listening to him share his stories in his own special way.

Not only does Terryon tutor writing, but also tutors students in religion and logic.

Terryon will be graduating in December of 2014. For those of us in the ASC, we will miss his daily visits to the center. It is where he can be found most of the time whether he is tutoring a student, hanging out, entertaining us with stories of his life or working on his next writing project.
