Paul and Judy Andrews Hall

Andrews Hall is a traditional ballroom that can be separated into three separate sections. The full occupancy of Andrews Hall is 320, but that number decreases with such items as the stage, buffet lines or podiums being used. Example configurations can be found in this document.

Section of Andrews Hall

Each section of Andrews Hall comes equipped with its own A/V connections, projector and screen. Each section can host up to 80 tabled sears of 140 seats in theater-style configuration.

George F. and Mary L. Leone Foyer

The foyer outside the ballrooms is a great space to host a reception or receiving area to the events inside Andrews Hall. Many events use the foyer to welcome guests, provide food and beverage service or extend the overall capacity of events in the Martin Center.

Jimmy Dubose Executive Conference Room

The DuBose Executive Boardroom comes equipped with a large monitor to be used for presentations and virtual meetings, a camera directed at the large 16-person conference table, access to the balcony and great views of the Kay Granger Mall.

Dee J. Kelly Student Leadership Chamber

The Student Leadership Chambers come equipped with all necessary A/V gadgets. Additionally, the SLC can hold up to 32 individuals in a table-and-chair lecture-style configuration. Other configurations can be found in this document.

Franks and Jean Buhler Plaza

The Buhler plaza, to the west side of the Martin Center, is a beautiful location replete with seating and a fountain. The Buhler plaza is a reservable space and is a great complement to any event in the Martin Center.

Kay Granger Mall

The Kay Granger Mall sits to the north of the Martin Center and is a beautiful quad in the middle of our beautiful and historic campus. The Mall is reservable for large-scale events. Large tents can be rented to help make your outdoor event a success.

Claudia and Rodd Stepp Ampitheatre

Located between the Martin Center and the Morton Fitness Center, the amphitheater is a unique venue for performances, presentations or social interactions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the price?

Pricing includes:

  1. Table and seating setup
  2. Basic A/V equipment, including the use of podium, podium microphone, projector and speakers
  3. For the following requests and/or requirements, additional charges may apply:
    • Use of ballroom stage
    • Tablecloths and bunting (if not provided by caterer)
    • Reservations outside of normal business hours
    • Special requests for table linens or other decorations
    • Security
    • Additional or special A/V requests (i.e. digital recording, additional microphones, special lighting, etc.)
If I want to cater a meal as part of my reservation, may I choose any caterer?

No. At this time, we have a contract in place with Aramark to provide all catering within the Martin University Center.

If my reservation lands outside of business hours, how will I get access to the rooms I need?

Through campus security. With each reservation, Campus Security is notified in case they are contacted to unlock a room. You can contact them at 817-531-4290

Is there anything specific I need to do if my event includes a dance or dancing?

Yes. You are required to rent a dance floor to be installed over the carpet in the ballroom for the duration of the event.

How do I use the A/V equipment?

You will need to submit a media services request. This link is also provided within the Outlook appointment used to confirm your reservation.
