George Grammer featured in the art gallery April 24-28
Texas Wesleyan Faculty, students and staff are invited to visit the gallery in the Bernice Coulter Templeton Art Studio April 24-28 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. George Grammer: Full Circle is displayed. This is a very special opportunity where you will be enriched by taking a tour of Grammer's retrospective exhibition.
Grammer is the last surviving member of the renowned Fort Worth Circle of artists. He is here from his home in New York and has played an important role in the installation of the exhibit. When asked if he was happy seeing all his works displayed he said, "It's like looking at pages of my diary."
Full Circle is the inaugural exhibition of Texas Wesleyan's new art gallery. The gallery is a focal point for the visual arts. It serves to enrich and encourage appreciation and understanding of art through engagement with original works. It provides faculty, students and staff opportunities to reflect, research, teach and interpret the creative work of visiting artists. The hope is for the gallery to enrich the quality of education for all members of the Texas Wesleyan community, to lead educational opportunities on campus, and to connect to the Fort Worth Community.
