This past weekend Texas Wesleyan University had the honor of hosting Bandas de Zacatecas. The band traveled from Zacatecas, Mexico to Fort Worth to perform in the 2025 Fort Worth Stock Show Parade, followed by a performance at Texas Wesleyan’s Martin Hall on Saturday, Jan. 18. The following day, the band performed at La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth. They performed a variety of pieces that included songs of Mexican heritage, as well as several classical pieces. You can view their performance on the Texas Wesleyan Music Department YouTube Channel.
