Join us on Friday, Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Martin Hall to honor our former guitar instructor, Michael Dailey, at the 3rd Annual Michael Dailey Scholarship Fund Concert.

Michael began to play guitar at age five, had his first public performance at age eight, and went on his first concert tour at age 14. He has performed in nearly every state in the United States, as well as Canada, Mexico, Europe and North, Central and South Americas. Michael founded The Guitar Studio in Fort Worth in 1986, where he originally focused on classical guitar instruction, but has now expanded to include almost all genres. Michael was a highly sought-out educator and was part of the faculty of Texas Wesleyan University and Tarrant County College Northwest campus.

To honor Michael, the memorial scholarship concert was created to continue to share his passion for guitar performance and education. The concert will include performances by talented guitarists within our Texas Wesleyan guitar studio and many other notable guitarists who have worked with Michael.

Tickets for the concert are $20 and can be purchased online or at the door. Additional donations toward the Michael Dailey Memorial Scholarship Fund are welcome. We hope you join us for an evening of honoring Michael Dailey through beautiful guitar performances!
