On Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m., music department chair Dr. Ilka Araújo will perform a solo piano recital entitled, “The Unknown Within the Known.” Dr. Araújo will perform a wide variety of piano repertoire, including the American premiere of “Fortaleza,” written by Linuino Pitombeira and dedicated to Dr. Araújo.
