The Wesleyan Chorale, directed by Dr. Jerome Bierschenk and joined by organist Dr. Jerry Westenkuehler and the full might of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, presents Dan Forrest's Jubilate Deo, which will feature student and community soloists: mezzo-sopranos Alli Perez and Janna McKinley and sopranos Elizabeth Drewes and Elena Noegel.
Jubilate Deo sets the text of Psalm 100, "O be joyful in the Lord, all ye lands," in seven different languages including Mandarin Chinese, Zulu, Arabic, Hebrew, Latin, Spanish and English.
The performance will take place at Arborlawn Methodist Church, which is located at 5001 Briarhaven Road, Fort Worth, Texas. We hope you will join us for this free concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, that is the capstone of Spring 2018 at Texas Wesleyan University and the final, climactic event of the 2017-18 season.
