For nearly 50 years, the Texas Wesleyan Department of Religion has sponsored a Christmas party for local children. The department is asking for help from the university community to make sure 75 kids have a gift and holiday celebration this season.

The department is asking for donations and volunteers for the event, to take place between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Polytechnic Community Center, located at 3100 Ave. I, just three blocks from campus.
