Professor Gladys Childs, Ph.D., was invited to lead a six-session series of professional development for Bethesda Christian School elementary teachers beginning Sept. 7, 2016. The sessions take place throughout the current school year and will involve various topics such as Understanding Generation Z, Mindset Theory and Student Engagement and Motivation.

"I am very excited to work with elementary teachers." Childs said. "They have such an important job and it takes a special spirit to work with children day in and day out." 

While Childs has presented at many teaching and learning conferences, this will be her first time to work with elementary teachers.
