The Drowsy Chaperone
This play-within-a-play is crammed full of gags, gimmicks and clichés from the golden age of musicals. As soon as our narrator, the Man-In-The-Chair, places the needle on his prized record, we're immediately transported into a 1928 classic Broadway musical which plays out in his living room.
Featuring everything from tap dancers and airplanes to roller skating and power failures, our 60th annual musical has something for everyone.
Directed by Professor of Theatre Connie Whitt-Lambert, musical direction by Adjunct Professor of Voice Kristin Spires with choreography by Adjunct Theatre Professor Elise Lavallee. Music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison with book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar.
The show will run April 24, 25, 26 at 7:30 p.m., April 26 and 27 at 2 p.m. To reserve tickets call our box office at 817-531-4211.
