Faculty: What you need to know about Spring Commencement 2016
The 2016 Robing, Hooding and Commencement ceremonies are quickly approaching and there are a few important details faculty members need to know prior to the big days ahead.

Robing Convocation
Friday, May 13 at 11 a.m.

All faculty are welcome to come to the robing ceremony, but only faculty who have agreed to robe a student are required to be in attendance. Tickets are not required for faculty members participating in the Robing Ceremony.
Faculty will line up at 10:15 a.m. at McFadden outside the Science Lecture Theatre (SLT). Please wear all academic regalia except mortar boards and tams.
Hooding Convocation
Friday, May 13 at 6 p.m.

Commencement Ceremony
Saturday, May 14 at 10 a.m.
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary - MacGorman Chapel

Commencement tickets are now available in the Provost Office and are required for the ceremony. Please contact Amber Coronado, Executive Academic Administrator, to have your tickets sent to your office.
Full-time faculty members are expected to attend official academic University functions such as convocations and graduations. Please refer to 5.1.2 of the Faculty Handbook.
Please arrive at 9:15 a.m. to prepare for lineup. This is a large venue, and we will have to move our lines a great distance, so it is very important to be on time. All academic regalia is required for Commencement.
Parking Information and Map
There are two parking lots directly behind the chapel. Parking is also available behind the Riley Center (next to the Chapel). There will be a sign leading you to the entrance as well as student volunteers. Parking passes are not required.
